Apple uses iPads in their stores to accept purchases so I don’t see why other retailers couldn’t have a way to connect to their e-commerce stores or POS system for in-store purchase as well. Excellent idea. It could really change the retail experience.

Customers could also see other colors/styles that are available at other stores if out of stock at the store they’re in. I really like the “Looks” feature of your site, so it’d be fun to have iPads around certain sections of the stores that show great matchups of tops, pants, bags, etc. A flash movie of your most recent collection photography in-store would really enhance the experience as well, as it does on the website.

i like the idea of replacing cash wrap. i think an ideal supplement would be to add an AR platform people could access through the ipad or their phone/wifi/gps enabled device. a kind of automatic google goggles, where you point your phone at a products tag and product info and photos automatically hover over it on the screen.

As a graduation trip I (an older adult) am taking 4 18 year young women to Costa Rica. By the time we get to the beach we will have spent 5 nights in the Avenal/Monteverde area hiking, and zipping through the jungle. I would like a recommendation for a very nice place to stay with available night life nearby, nice beach/pool, and possible spa? Thanks

I really like what you guys are doing, showcasing real people in your campaign is a good thing. However, I feel like your company needs to take more risks to get to that next level. I keep checking in with your website to see how the clothes are progressing, and it’s still fairly hit or miss. You’re offering classics a lot, which is great, but I wish you’d do more playful prints or add some funkier pieces to your line up. Or you could even add a cheaper line of accessories that are still playful and good for the environment, like one of a kind pieces made from recycled materials or reworked vintage. I’m happy that this company exists; I really believe in the message you’re sending. I would just like to see some new ideas in the mix…

I can’t believe I read this far back in the blog, but now I’m glad I did… Musicfest Northwest was a blast. I got to see Explosions in the Sky and Eluvium on opening day, then Japanther and Reporter the next day. Got sick so had to skip John Vanderslice, and then went back to close on Sunday with Mimicking Birds and Modest Mouse. Good times. Thanks for making me remember. I love my Rowland jacket!
